I'm an artist painting out of Chicago.  I am fascinated by how so much of what makes us who we are is unseen.  Our upbringing, culture, and memories, all lying under the face the world perceives.  Through drips and splashes of oil and acrylic, my intentions are to show the complex layers that make up the individual.  Each color representing an event or situation in the person's life adding to the whole.  It is the viewer's duty to bring definition to the work, to apply personal biases to the colors, and to decipher an emotional stance through the paint.
